BLUE ASH - FRONT PAGE NEWS (1977)
Blue Ash released a second album for Playboy Records "Front Page News"
in 1977. After "No More, No Less" got lost in the shuffle, "Front Page News" went largely unheard, and was criticized by original fans for
'selling out' with horns and strings (added, it must be noted, without
the band's knowledge).Some songs without the strings can be heard on The Not Lame Anthology.
After this, Frank Secich teamed up with Stiv Bators and released the power pop gem "Disconnected" on Bomp Records. Later he was a founding member of the fabulous Deadbeat Poets, (five excellent albums between 2007 and 2014).
Note: The album was posted on PPC in 2007 in lossy format, so this is the first time it is shared in lossless. The audio and the artwork have been totally reworked.
