Started a few months ago, and delayed due to various health issues, i've finally been able to complete the compilation and to post it today. Only four of the artists featured in this brand new volume can also be heard on the previous two collections, all the other ones are included here for the first time.

Again, this is a 2CD-set and it comes with the usual PPA artwork including all details about the artists featured here.

Eight years after the first compilation, i'd finally made a sequel to "The Pocket Symphonies To God". In  2016, I worked all summer long on this brand new collection. Only 6 artists (out of 52) of this new volume could also be found on the first one.

VARIOUS - THE POCKET SYMPHONIES TO GOD (2008)

In 2008, i made this compilation and quite some PPC readers have always considered it was the best one i'd ever made. At the time of its first release, the collection had been available in mp3 format only. The links had been dead for so long, that in  2015 i decided to re-post, but instead of re-upping the old one, i re-made it totally, moving one song from CD1 to CD2, and using only LOSSLESS files in order to be listened in CD quality. The artwork has been slightly changed also.

 

It was voted Top 3 by the PPC readers in 2010.

The collection even got an entry (not by me) with a rather nice rating on RYM,

It has been re-upped several times on PPC and for the first time on PPA

OPEN THE BOX #5 (1997) (Remastered 2023)

 

First released in 1997 under an alias as a long lost gem from the 60's, it became less famous than other acts as XTC with The Dukes of Stratosphear or even The Damned with Naz Nomad. Over the years, it became an overlooked gem which has been remastered in 2023 and released with a new artwork. The real name of the artist is now printed on the release. The 1997 was part of the AWoS 2007 and four songs of the album were featured on four PPC compilations "Meet The Beatlesque (2007),  "The Pocket Symphonies To God (Brian Wilsonesque)" (2008), "Those Byrds Have Flown (A Byrdsian Tribute) (2011), and "Some Soundalikes, Sometimes They Sound Like" (2010).
