THE SECLUSIONS - ISOLATION FOR CREATION (1983)
If you try to find some info about "The Seclusions", you will get something about Joey Ramone helping for backing vocals on "Nothing Can Change The Shape of Things to Come"
(released as a single in 1983). The LP was later released in France around
1985. Fronted by a blonde guy called Randy Dash, and coming from
New York, the Seclusions also included some famous musicians such as: Jimmy Destri, Busta "Cherry" Jones, Jay Dee Daugherty, Tim Butler, Jimmy Rip, Holly Beth Vincent and Marty Feier. Most of the songs on this album were covers of 60's classics
coming along a few originals penned by Randy Dash & friends, the
album being part of the psychedelic garage revival popular at that time. During
recording of this album, engineer Joe Blaney (Clash, Prince,
Beastie Boys) referred to Dash as "Lord Dash" as he was the 80's NY
punk answer to Lord Sutch and Heavy Friends.
