THE NEIGHBORHOODS - THE HIGH HARD ONE (1986)
Hailing from Boston, The Neighborhoods started out playing strong power
pop (a 1980 single, "Prettiest Girl" remains a local classic) in the
wake of British neo/mods. After the mini-album "Fire Is Coming" (1984) the band released their first LP "The High Hard One" which showed maturation, an album full of instantly memorable tunes.

I love that fact that you worked on this album. The Neighborhoods were a force all their own. Dave Minehan ate up the stage like no other lead singer on the scene at the time. Had a Dennis The Menace quality about him !
