POPKIDS ARE GO! (1995)
(A COLLECTION OF SO..CALIFORNIA POP)
An old and quite rare collection of power pop compiled by Tony Perkins, better known as Martin Luther Lennon. The compilation features some famous bands but also some obscure ones. Never posted on PPC, the album was a cassette only release and has never been reissued.

Good morning from Canada,

PPC is dead, long live PPC! Great to see you are continuing on and still sharing your great collection of music with us!
Great!! Long live the new PPC!!
I have an album by Martin Luther Lennon. I haven't listened to it in ages but I remember liking it a lot. Curious to see what he put together here. Thank you for posting.
Very cool. Thanks for the continued efforts despite all the challenges.
Thanks again, dear Angelo for sharing handdfuls of PP gems with others!
Your posts are always anticipated and appreciated with gratitude.
PP Angels - that reads like a Phoenix...
Wishing you a successful treatment and some joy and wonder in return for what you've been offering to us all.
Good luck!
Thanks so much. I truly appreciate all you do for all of us.
So grateful for all your hard work. Please get better. Thank you thank you.
Congrats on newer & better blog. Take care.
Yay! New site! Sad to see the history of the old site will be relegated to the wayback machine, but things always move forward and we'll be there with you. :-)
I have tinnitus horribly. It's as loud, or louder, than any sounds around me. It's very trying at times.
Still, in spite of all of it, I wish you some improvement.
Thank you Angelo for all you do, and for hosting one of the most prime outposts for power-popsters.
As for Tony Perkins - he, along with Larry Mann, was also the creator and operator of the late, insanely great Poptopia festival, which happened in LA yearly from 1996 to 2000. Was very luckly & fortunate to attend for 3 of those years. David Bash's IPO continued the power-pop fest story, and expanded it to a full-time job with events throughout the US & Canada, plus Liverpool (the Cavern Club no less) and Stockholm.
Thanks for your continued sharing and caring! Hope you find some help for your condition.
Sorry to hear the update on your health news but good to hear you are trying to continue with the blogging. So many thanks for all the music you have shared and made me investigate further over the years.
All the best from Derby UK.
